Clean up of little dry creek goes great!

On January 29, 2008 the Fort Attaway Preservation Society and the Coosa River Basin Initiative were proud to announce their sponsorship of the clean up of Little Dry Creek, which is an intricate part of Fort Attaway's location and history. The clean up was held on Friday, February 1, 2008 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. Other sponsors included the Rome Adopt-a-Stream program and Berry College Students. Everyone pulled together and Little Dry Creek and the area around it looked so much better after the clean up.

The garbage and the recyclables were separated as they were collected, and a lot was collected:

Tires  108 lbs
